Refund Policy

G&S Repairs: Quick Return Policy Overview

  • Warranty: All products are subject to the original manufacturer's limited warranty or policy. G&S Repairs does not provide an extended warranty beyond the manufacturer's terms.

  • Inspection: All returns are subject to a thorough inspection and final review by G&S Repairs before a refund is processed.

  • Fees: Approved returns are subject to Shipping, Handling, and Restocking Fees. Please see our full policy for details.

This policy covers both supplies/parts purchased directly from G&S Repairs' online store and repair services completed by G&S Repairs.

1. General Return Principles

  • Time Frame: All requests for returns or refunds must be initiated within 10 days of the original purchase/service date.

  • Authorization: No returns will be accepted without a pre-authorized Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by G&S Repairs.

  • Final Review: All returned items and services are subject to a mandatory inspection and final review by G&S Repairs management. The final decision on the approval and amount of any refund rests solely with G&S Repairs.

 

2. Supplies & Parts Returns

A. Product Condition & Eligibility

  • Items must be returned in the original, unopened packaging and be in new, resalable condition.

  • Any item that has been installed, used, or modified is generally non-returnable.

  • Defective Products: If you receive a product you believe is defective, you must notify G&S Repairs within 5 business days of delivery.

B. Warranty

  • All supplies and parts are sold subject solely to the original manufacturer's limited warranty or policy. G&S Repairs provides no independent warranty for parts and is not responsible for manufacturer policy changes or claim processing times.

 

C. Fees

  • Shipping & Handling: Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

  • Restocking Fee: Approved returns will be subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the item's purchase price. This fee covers costs associated with processing, inspecting, and repackaging the item.

 

3. Repair Services Policy (Services Rendered by G&S Repairs)

 

A. Workmanship Guarantee

  • G&S Repairs guarantees its labor and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date the repair service was completed.

  • If a repair fails due to an error in G&S Repairs’ workmanship during this period, G&S Repairs will correct the issue at no additional labor cost.

B. Parts Used in Repair

  • Any parts used in a repair are covered exclusively by the manufacturer's limited warranty. G&S Repairs is not responsible for the failure of a manufacturer's part outside of its specific warranty terms.

 

C. Refund for Services

  • Due to the nature of specialized repair services, a full refund for a completed repair service is rarely granted.

  • Any consideration for a refund on services will be based on an inspection of the issue and will be subject to a deduction for the value of parts used, travel time, and diagnostic labor already performed.

 

4. Process for Initiating a Return

  • Contact Us: Email accounting@gandsrepair.com or call 970-778-1721 to request an RMA number. Please provide your original order number and reason for the return.

  • RMA Issuance: Upon preliminary approval, G&S Repairs will issue an RMA number and instructions for shipping the item back.

  • Shipping: The customer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping the product back to G&S Repairs. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method.

  • Inspection & Refund: Once the item is received and passes inspection, we will process the refund to the original method of payment, minus any applicable fees. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing after inspection
