Comprehensive Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of the G and S Repair and Services website (the "Website") and the services provided by G and S Repair and Services (collectively referred to as "G and S Repair"). By using the Website or submitting equipment for service, the client agrees to these terms.

Part I: General Business & Website Terms

1. Acceptance and Scope of Use

The Website is intended for business use by individuals and entities seeking information about, and wishing to utilize, the repair, supply, or rental services offered by G and S Repair.

 

2. Changes to Offerings and Pricing

G and S Repair reserves the right to modify or discontinue any service offering, product line (including welding supplies and rentals), or pricing structure, at any time without prior notice.

 

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and service descriptions, is the property of G and S Repair or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

 

4. Account Suspension and Cancellation

G and S Repair reserves the right to suspend or cancel any customer or user account at its sole discretion, including for reasons such as breach of these Terms and Conditions or fraudulent activity.

Part II: Repair Service-Specific Terms

1. Diagnostic Fee and Evaluation

 

A standard diagnostic fee of $120 per hour is applied to all full machine evaluations (typically requiring 2–4 hours).

  • Waiver: The diagnostic fee will be entirely waived and credited toward the total repair cost if the client approves and proceeds with the subsequent G and S Repair quote.

  • Non-Refundable: The diagnostic fee is non-refundable and will be charged for all units, including those deemed irreparable after evaluation.

 

2. Payment Terms and Taxes

 

  • Payment Methods: We accept [Specify Accepted Payment Methods, e.g., credit card, wire transfer, business check]. Full payment is required upon the completion of all repair services and prior to the release or shipment of the equipment.

  • Taxes: The client is responsible for all applicable local, state, and federal sales taxes. Taxes on all parts will be clearly itemized and added to the final invoice total.

 

3. Shipping, Handling, and Insurance

 

  • Shipping & Handling: The client is responsible for all costs associated with shipping and handling of the equipment to and from the G and S Repair facility.

  • Insurance: The client is responsible for securing adequate insurance coverage for the equipment during transit to the G and S Repair facility. G and S Repair is not responsible for any damage or loss incurred during the shipping process.

 

4. Estimated Repair Timelines

 

All repair timelines provided (including diagnosis, parts procurement, and repair completion) are estimates only. G and S Repair is not liable for delays caused by external factors, including but not limited to, third-party shipping delays, parts availability, or unforeseen technical complications.

 

5. Warranty

 

G and S Repair warrants that the services performed will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of [Specify Number, e.g., 90 days] from the date the equipment is released to the client. This warranty is limited to the labor performed and the specific parts replaced on the original repair invoice. This warranty does not cover: damage resulting from client misuse, neglect, or improper operation; components not replaced during the original repair; or normal wear and tear.

Part III: Welding Supplies and Sales Terms

 

These terms apply to the purchase and sale of all materials, consumables, parts, and welding supplies from G and S Repair.

 

1. Title, Risk of Loss, and Delivery

Title to all purchased goods (welding supplies, consumables, and parts) and the risk of loss or damage pass to the client upon delivery to the common carrier (the shipping company) at the G and S Repair facility. Delivery dates provided are estimates, and G and S Repair is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from delivery delays.

 

2. Inspection and Acceptance of Goods

 

The client must inspect all goods immediately upon receipt. Any claims for shortages, defects, or shipping damage must be reported to the shipping company before signature and must be reported to G and S Repair within 12 hours of delivery. Failure to report issues within this period constitutes acceptance of the goods as delivered. 

 

3. Returns and Exchange Policy

All product returns must be authorized by G and S Repair in advance. Returns of unused, resalable items may be accepted within [Specify Number, e.g., 30 days] of purchase, subject to a potential restocking fee of [Specify Percentage, e.g., 15%]. Electronic components, PC boards, and special-order items are considered final sale and are non-refundable/non-returnable.

 

4. Limitation on Product Warranty

G and S Repair does not provide any express warranty on new welding supplies, consumables, or parts purchased. Any warranty provided is strictly that of the original manufacturer. G and S Repair disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to the warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. G and S Repair will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of any purchased supplies.

Acknowledgement of Terms

By using this Website for purchases, information, or submitting equipment for repair services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Conclusion

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Client and G and S Repair regarding the subject matter hereof.
